With Beyoncé rumoured to be following her show-stopping appearance at the GRAMMYs with a headline appearance at the Brits, organisers have been stocking up on the celebrities’ favourite, Skinny V, to keep Beyoncé and co. refreshed and hydrated between performances. You won’t find the stars’ new cult favourite health drink on supermarket shelves or at most bars. It’s sold at only the most exclusive clubs and at selected six star hotels and, of course, flown in to events like the Brits when the stars need to look and feel their best.
Skinny V is available in five flavours including the popular ‘Skinny Berry’ and as well as being popular with health-conscious celebs who drink it alone as a health drink, it’s also popular at the stars’ favourite bars as a mixer, providing the perfect accompaniment to the world’s finest vodkas. At present, Skinny V’s manufacturers are keeping its distribution ultra-exclusive, focusing on serving their celebrity clientele, but like most celebrity trends, it’s surely only a matter of time before this Hollywood health obsession filters through to the mainstream. Watch this space for news on where to find Skinny V in Manchester!

The end of January saw an interesting invite by Pie & Ale from Bakerie land on the ManchesterBars.Com desk, one which we couldn’t turn down, despite it filling us with fear, excitement and questions all at the same time! They wanted us to not only attend, but participate in the first ever Hot Pie Competition on Monday 3 rd February; a challenge which was sure to test even the biggest eater at Manchesterbars.com!
The challenge, should we choose to accept it; to eat 3 freshly baked, piping hot pies served with 3 sides in under 10 minutes. That’s almost 4lb of food. Choose to accept it? Why wouldn’t we, since Bakerie offer the most amazing pies, all made fresh in-house with a gravy good enough to drink by the pint. But 3 of those big piping hot pies, plus sides, in under 10 minutes? Is that even possible? Nobody in the office knew the answer, but not to be put off we got down the important business of deciding who should defend our honour in this pie eating feat...... click here to read more
Skinny V; a zero-calorie, zero-carb and sugar-free soft drink enhanced purely by natural and essential vitamins, will soon to be available throughout the UK at selected bars and restaurants including Australasia, Manchester House and Cloud 23 in Manchester. Skinny V is sweetened by the revolutionary Stevia plant, will be available in various flavours and is taking the world by storm as the ultimate cocktail addition or a soft drink in its own right. Ian Minton, MD of Skinny Drinks Enterprises stated “As a type one diabetic it was increasingly hard for me to find a suitable drink on a night out. My choices were so limited that it became a challenge to go out and enjoy myself. Any drink I found would be laden with hidden additives and a ridiculous amount of calories, which wasn’t ideal when following a healthy lifestyle. This all became my driving force to create this healthy alternative for myself and others like me who are diabetic, want to be healthy or simply want a change. Skinny V is for everyone”.
