Ithaca Manchester
Ithaca is a fine dining restaurant and bar serving the very best modern Japanese cuisine in beautiful surroundings, which took over two years to create, at a cost of more than £4 million.
The fine dining modern Japanese restaurant, situated on the ground and first floors, is exquisitely decorated in lush dark hues, and features sharp lines and slick finishings.
The Astoria Bar on the second floor is dominated by a spectacular half-moon bar sculpted from black Venetian glass. It is manned by a clutch of the UK’s leading mixologists who can rustle up any classic aperitif you care to mention, as well as a selection of fiendishly seductive bespoke cocktails featuring rare and exotic ingredients.

Heavenly concoctions such as Enter The Dragon, a passionfruit and chilli daiquiri containing Dragonfruit from Madagascar, or the ingenious Project Ako, a series of neon slings with Kasugai pure fruit sweets from Japan, are unique to Ithaca. Guests can also order from a bar-food menu that features a selection of Ithaca’s delicious restaurant dishes.
Spectacular mirrored chandeliers and luxurious furnishings combine to conjure a sense of comfort and sophistication. But don’t be distracted by the opulent décor, the real stars of the show here are the food and drink!
In these busy times, there is a greater need than ever to relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures: good food, good drink and good company. If you bring the company then Ithaca will look after the rest.
VIP Lounge at Ithaca Manchester
On the third floor you will find Ithaca's exclusive VIP suite. Membership is limited and strictly by invitation only; thus premium patrons can be confident in the knowledge that there is a luxurious private space reserved especially for themselves and their guests.
The best of the best is available behind the bar, with an extensive selection of Japanese whiskeys and premium spirits from all over the world. And for those in pursuit of liquid perfection there is Louis XIII cognac, the amazing Remy Martin Black Pearl, and the sublime Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs champagne – an impressive selection that assures VIP members a vintage night out with every visit.

Ithaca Bar Reviews
"From the moment you are escorted up the stairs to the third floor bar at Ithaca, you can't help but be blown away by the sheer extravagance of the decor. Every pound of the £4 million they reportedly spent on this place is there to be seen - and it doesn't disappoint. The suprisingly intmate bar is a delight to relax in and the cocktails superb - the Japanese Project Ako specials are worth the visit alone!" - (November 2008)
