Bar
Odder Manchester |
 |
| If
you like mirror covered stairways, giant lizards, huge vases and loads
of clocks then you're a very strange person indeed, but also you'll
love Odder! |
| Odder
is Odd bar's little sister but, surprisingly, quite a lot bigger,
with two bars and a love of all things weird and wonderful. Offering
an amazing food menu, free Internet access, and even free umbrellas
when it's raining (or when you need to scare pigeons). There are also
great deals on fantastic beers from around the world, the biggest
range of spirits on the planet, quirkily strange décor, a fab
juke box and wonderfully friendly staff. |
| Odder
has rightly won the industry's BEDA Best Bar North & Best Bar
UK Awards 2007-08 and was also nominated Best Bar AND Best Newcomer
at the Manchester Food & Drink Awards 2007 - Hooray! |

Odder
is a beautifully diverse night out. For up to date information on
what’s going on check out their website click
here; after all it could be anything from superstar DJ Mark
Ronson, taking the decks for a secret aftershow party to Manchester’s
finest Shoplifters DJ’s getting everyone dancing on a Saturday,
to the regularly irregular quiz night Quizimodo, where anything
can, and does, happen – there’s something on most evenings. |
Odder's
weekend, and DJ's, start on Thursday night and carry on every evening
‘til very late Saturday night, with regulars like Beat Juice
funk night, Rich Reason's Irreverent, and Disco Stu's soul, disco
and hip hop special, Frisk The Disco. |
Like
their big, little sister, Odd, you'll find the best, fresh food
menu ever! All of their food is homemade to order and very inventive,
drawing on influences from Warsaw to Brighton. They also have brilliant,
authentic Italian 10” pizzas made fresh on the premises –
choose from the special pizza deals, or customise your own pizza
if you wish. Feel free to book in advance or simply call in. |
|
| Also
like Odd – there's tons of weird and wonderful liquids for your
intoxicating pleasure (and non alcoholic of course!) Be it Strawberry,
Raspberry & Cherry fruit beers, an extensive range of draught
beers including Belgian Weiss & Abbey beers and award winning
real ales from microbreweries all around the Manchester area (try
the Ginger Marble, it’s excellent) or some bonkers bottled beers
from around the globe, go to Odder and see for yourself. |
 |
|
Odder have enough vodka to sink a battleship, as well as Rums (try
the spiced Jamaican variety - it’s amazing), Gins (some serve
it with cucumber, don’t you know – they have over 7 different
types on offer), Whiskeys (bourbons, malts, blends & old smoky
stuff - they’ve literally got loads). |
| As
for the wine list, it’s as inventive and varied as the rest
of the bar – with their exclusive house wine at half price between
5 & 7pm – Monday – Friday! |

| "When
Odd first broke onto the scene, it got people in Manchester talking
and totally revolutionised the Northern Quarter. The word bohemian
is often thrown around loosely to describe many a bar in the city,
however, Odd can truly fit that description. Even the drinks list
takes you to places as wonderful as the Czech Republic, Bavaria and
Switzerland. They don't take themselves too seriously and is a fun
place to drink, catch up with friends and enjoy the fantastic background
music. If you are in this area of town, it'll be odd if you don't
visit this crackin' bar!"
