The
breathtaking Obsidian Bar & Restaurant is located in the heart
of Manchester city centre directly beneath the fabulous new Arora
International Hotel. It's an exciting new concept for Manchester,
which takes it's design inspiration from the buzzy uptown bars of
New York.
The
design of Obsidian is as impressive as the team involved in the
project. Inspired by the upscale glamour of the Big Apple, the designers
have created a magnificent space which blends Aberesque with Sex
and the City. A petrified tree feature and polished marble-floored
staircase greets guests at the door and takes them down into the
main bar and restaurant, where white Moroccan-style curved ceilings
and walls complement intimate rounded leather booths.
The
flooring is richly coloured mahogany and redwood, while the stunning
50ft frosted glass bar is backlit with aquamarine neon, and boasts
tall chairs, long mirrors and angled strip lighting which changes
'moods' during the day and night.
A
perfect spot for Manchester's very own Carrie Bradshaws, Obsidian
also offers a fabulous location for a anyone who wishes to experience
excellence in fine dining in an exclusive restaurant in the heart
of this extremely bustling city.
