Planning permission has been submitted to convert The Commerical Hotel pub and it's adjacent building on Liverpool Road in Castlefield to a 39 bed bouteque hotel and 100 seater restaurant. Manchester architects, Formroom and Liverpool developers, Iliad Group, have been working on plans over three years for the Grade II listed site, which sits opposite the historic Liverpool Road Railway Station, now part of the Museum of Science & Industry.
