Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November will see Manchester's Victoria Warehouse play host to The Whisky sessions; a 2 day festival featuring a wide range of whiskies, along with a stellar line up of more than twenty acts, over two stages. Big name acts include I Am Kloot, Gomez and Badly Drawn Boy, but to name a few. |
The event is being held by Ingenius Events, who are part of the International Wine and Spirits Group (IWSC), with a view to bringing together two things which are loved the world over, whisky and music, by showcasing some of the world's finest whiskies, alongside some of the most talented musicians around. |
Tickets to the event will include a limited number of complementary whisky tastings, but for those who prefer a glass of wine, G&T, or just a humble pint then fear not. There are also bars onsite which will be offering a first class drinks service catering for all tastes. The festival will house bespoke cocktail bars, street food stalls, the display of whisky related films, and so much more. |
Allen Gibbons; Chief Executive of IWCS commented "We are delighted to be launching The Whiskey Sessions, which we feel is a unique music experience with a whisky twist." |
Tickets are on sale now at The Whiskey Jar in Tariff Street. General admission costs £35, with a limited number of VIP tickets available for £55. 10% discount is available on group bookings of 10 people or more. |
