Manchester
Academy is on the outskirts of town, part of the university campus,
a 15 minute walk down Oxford Road from the city centre. Manchester
Academy 2 and 3 and the Club Academy are located next door and boast
their own Student Union bar which is open to concert goers.
As
you'd expect, most of the bars around this area are largely student
hang outs but on concert nights they get taken over by hundreds
of music lovers, especially pre-show.
