music, catering to everyone from the student crowd to the veteran

numerous drinks promotions ranging from £2 cocktails all day
every day, to 2-4-1 Tiger available until 10pm, The Font also stocks
an impressive and diverse selection of continental beers ranging from
popular fruit beers to the more sophisticated German wheat beers.
In addition, the regular rotation of the beers pumps allows for an
eclectic mix of local micro breweries, earning The Font a well deserved
two year run in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. For the wine drinker, Sediba
white and red wines are available for just £6 a bottle between
5pm and 8pm and with an impressive array of house and premium spirits
also on display, a double with mixer can cost as little as £2.50.
For the shooter-lovers, there is also a selection of £1 flavoured
shots to start or end the night right! |

To
compliment the fantastic drinks selection, The Font is also the ideal
place to enjoy freshly prepared food from 12-8 every day. Serving
huge portions at a ludicrously low price, the menu caters to meat
eaters and vegetarians alike and is infamous for its ever-popular
side order of curly fries that accompanies all wraps, sandwiches and
burgers. It’s also worth keeping an eye on the daily specials
board, regularly featuring new additions made from homemade recipes,
fresh soups and the Roast dinner, available all weekend and typically
consisting of Chicken, Beef or Nut Roast with all the trimmings. |

One of the Font’s best features however is its vibrant, busy
atmosphere, complimented by the quirky, fun décor. Tastefully
decked out with artwork from local talent, vintage lamps and comfortable
seating, the walls pay tribute to some of Manchester’s best
graffiti artists to create a chic-bohemian setting. This is of course,
perfectly complimented by the ever-changing alternative music soundtrack
playing over the sound-system throughout the day, featuring indie,
electro and rock classics and new music from unsigned bands.. |

Monday sees the Roadhouse
regular ‘Sex With Robots’ DJs spinning indie and the best
electro hits from the 80s. |

hypes up the alternative vibe a notch with the long-running night
‘Click Click’, complete with even cheaper drinks specials. |

Wednesday plays host
to the Sketch City DJs, who bring their best soul, funk and disco
records to the decks. |
| Thursday
following suit with the renowned ‘Revolver’ DJs spinning
Motown, funk and Northern Soul hits. |
| Fridays
revert to the indie/electro underground scene with sets from the ‘Barbed
Wire Kisses’ and ‘Whip It’ DJs. |
| Saturdays
round up the week with Soul and Funk into the early hours. Entry is
completely free every night of the week and in addition, the bar’s
split level structure also allows for customers to host parties and
functions downstairs free of charge. |
| The
Font also has strong ties to local, upcoming events, involving itself
in the annual Arts festival, Euroculutured, and in the summer, playing
venue host to the ever-popular All Day Breakfast. |

that weren’t enough, for the avid Playstation fanatic Pro Evolution
football is available to play for free throughout the day. With a
friendly and efficient team of staff, The Font ticks all the boxes
