Cask is quite simply beer drinker's heaven. Located in the heart of Castlefield, opposite the Science & Industry Museum on Liverpool Road, you'd be forgiven for not noticing this friendly little bar with it's unassuming exterior.

Squeeze through the tiny doors however and you'll find a lively place crammed with everybody from businessmen unwinding at the end of their hard day's work to unpretentious celebs revising their scripts over a bottle of import beer or two. Curious tourists join locals from the nearby luxury apartments and, on match days, Manchester United fans fill the place both before and after their short trip to Old Trafford.

There's many reasons why one visit to Cask just never seems enough. The beer list is without doubt the most comprehensive in town and the knowledgeable bar staff can help you find an imported ale to suit your requirements. With many German wheat beers, strong Belgian imports, special Dutch lagers and bottles from around the globe, the choice is incredible!

There's an outdoor patio garden at the back and comfy seating inside, where you can sit back and unwind, listening to the amazing jukebox which boasts a whole array of Manchester bands and artists. It all seems such a world away from the more 'trendier' bars around the corner at Deansgate Locks and the Hilton tower. This is one independent bar that has quite rightly become a true Mancunian favourite!!!
