Bacchanalia
Manchester |
 |
| 'Bacchanalia'
is a Greek word for 'a gathering of
people, eating, drinking and having a good time' and that's what
you'll find at Bacchanalia bar in Manchester. . |
| Situated
in a beautiful Tudor House on Chapel Walks, less than a minute's
stroll from King Street. Their peaceful location provides the perfect
ambience for the perfect cocktail or glass of wine. |
| Bacchanalia
is weel situated for shoppers and business-folk alike, turning into
a busy night-time venue for dinner and drinks - the ideal destination
for theatre and concert goers with the Royal Exchange and MEN Arena
being just around the corner. |
| The
first thing you see when you step foot inside Bacchanalia is the rustic
looking 25 foot bar, behind which, some of Manchester’s best
bartenders are building, shaking, blending and mixing some of the
150 cocktails which makes up Bacchanalia’s impressive cocktail
list. |
|
 |
Downstairs
at Bacchanalia is predominantly a bar, with the bartenders serving
over 150 cocktails and a selection of wines that Baccus, the Greek
god of wine, would be proud of. |
| The
bar area is a chilled out space with purpose built leather booths
where you can laze around in the afternoon drinking one of their many
double chilled continental beers. When the business district closes
at 5pm you will find Bacchanalia full of office types; secretaries
sharing a bottle of Pinot Grigio or Directors indulging in a New Zealand
Pinot Noir. With Bacchus being the Greek god of wine, Bacchanalia's
wine list had to be impressive and by working with smaller local suppliers
there is certainly something for everyone and at prices that won’t
break the expense account!
|
| Upstairs
you'll find the excellent
restaurant serving a mixture of Mediterranean inspired dishes with
some English favourites thrown is for good measure. |
| With
a vast range of spirits and excellent product knowledge by Bacchanala's
bartenders, you can be assured that whatever your taste’s or
requirements are then you will not be disappointed by their drinks
that will exceed your every expectation.

Bar Reviews |
 |
"Without
a doubt one of the best bars in town - with over 150 cocktails to
choose from, each expertly made by very friendly bar staff, Bacchanalia
has gone from being a hidden gem to one of the busiest establishments
in town. Even before you walk through the door the stunning Tudor
building impresses and the outside seating is inviting on hot sunny
days. Inside, the bar is equally as inviting; comfy booth window
seating and an impressive bar area make this the ideal place to
sip great wine, lagers and some of the finest cocktails in Manchester.
And that's before we even venture upstairs to the amazing restaurant!
This place has got it all!"-
